Readings for “Footloose Ladies Talk International Development,” March 31 (posted by Kim)

Attached is a  JTPK Bookgroup Readings  liar for you in advance of the all female presentation on our personal experiences with international development and aid projects next time.  It is not necessary to read any of these and that’s a first for the book group.  But, if any of the titles intrigues you, go ahead and you’ll have a little more context for the evening.  Our plan, as we explained to the group last week, is to have each of us briefly discuss the lessons learned from our individual overseas experiences – and each of the experiences is uniquely different.  We won’t be repeating ourselves.  Then, it’s the traditional thoughtful free-for-all.
So take a look at the reading list that Janice wrote up.  Each of us identified a couple of sources we thought would be good background for our own presentation.  Peruse and see what tickles your fancy.  She provided over views on each from Amazon so you’ll have an idea of what you might be getting into.  (JTPK is Janice, Terry, Pam and Kim)
